We provide market valuations of industrial and commercial properties and vacant land for pre-purchase/disposal, feasibility, financial reporting, and mortgage security (accepted by all major banks). Our reports provide a full market backdrop with relevant and robust comparable analysis.

We act for landlords and tenants in the matter of market rental assessments for market review, new lease purposes and internal review. We are across the latest letting activity and have experience in negotiations and expert witness/arbitrations.

The Public Works Act 1981 facilitates the process of compulsory acquisition of property by the Crown and local authorities. Both the acquiring authority and the property owner obtain valuation advice to determine the compensation payable for the land take. Settlement can be direct between owner and acquiring authority, but should the need arise our team has experience in negotiations including involvement with the Land Valuation Tribunal.

To assist in setting insurance premiums Speerstra Hart provides insurance valuation reports to satisfy the requirements of your insurer.

Daniel is a Director of Speerstra Hart and is appointed to all major bank valuation panels. He undertakes valuations across Auckland, with a particular focus on the North Shore to Warkworth, the industrial areas surrounding Onehunga and Penrose, and the expanding ‘North-West’, including Kumeu, Hobsonville and Westgate. He also undertakes commercial and industrial valuations on Waiheke Island and regularly assists with valuation overflow across wider West and South Auckland alongside his colleagues. His principal areas of expertise are the industrial, retail, office and land markets, including specialised assets such as medical properties, service stations, and food grade and cold storage facilities. Daniel undertakes a wide range of instructions, including market valuations, rent reviews, insurance valuations and compensation valuations under the Public Works Act. Outside the office, Daniel enjoys spending time with his young family, exploring the outdoors and travelling.

Joe is an Associate Director at Speerstra Hart with over a decade of specialised experience in industrial and suburban commercial property valuation. He covers all South Auckland industrial precincts with extensive experience in East Tāmaki, Airport/Māngere, Manukau, Takanini, and Wiri. In addition, Joe undertakes valuation work throughout wider Auckland.
